Getting started

How do I get the app?

For Amazon Fire TV, download the app from the Amazon Appstore.

Log in

To log in:

1. Enter your username into the Username
2. Enter your password into the Password
3. Select SIGN IN.

If you’ve forgotten any of your login details:

1. Select Forgot Username or Password?
2. To reset your password, enter your email address and select RESET.
3. You’ll receive an email. Click the password reset link in the email and follow the instructions.

If you’ve forgotten your username, or have any problems resetting your password, contact the operator.

Create a PIN

You are required to create a 4-digit PIN which will be used for parental control, purchasing, and accessing advanced features.

1. Enter 4-digit PIN.

Confirm the same 4-digit PIN.

USING THE PLAYER

Find on-demand TV and movies

All on-demand listings are shown on DISCOVER.

Select DISCOVER to see recommended and curated TV shows and movies.

Use the remote control to navigate and select.

See what’s on now

To browse live content by category:

1. Select LIVE. All live channels with their currently broadcasting TV shows and movies are listed.
2. Use the remote control to find and select an item.

View the schedule listings

To view the complete content schedule:

1. Select the GUIDE icon.
2. Navigate down to see all the channels.
3. Navigate left to see the listings for forthcoming programmes
4. Navigate right to see the listings for previously broadcast programmes.
5. Select an item to view its details and start play.

Use the timeline EPG

When a TV show or movie is playing, you can press left or right to view the timeline EPG:

1. Navigate left to show your recently watched TV shows and movies.
2. Navigate right to see recommendations to watch next.

Use the quick EPG

When a TV show or movie is playing, you can press UP or DOWN to view the quick EPG:

1. Navigate up and down to show what’s live on the previous and next channels.
2. Navigate right to see recommendations for what to watch next.

Search for a specific TV show or movie

You can search for specific content by using SEARCH.

1. Select the SEARCH
2. Enter the search term into the box.

Alternatively, you can use the buttons to browse by category.

Watch a movie trailer

To watch a movie trailer:

1. Select the movie to view its details.
2. Select again to play the trailer.
3. Press BACK to exit.

View more information about a TV show or movie

When viewing TV show or movie details, select MORE INFO to see the full description.

Find related content

When viewing on-demand TV show or movie details:

1. Navigate right to see RELATED TV shows and movies.
2. Navigate left and right to see each item of related content.
3. Select to view details.

View cast members

When viewing TV show or movie details:

1. Navigate right to see the CAST
2. Select a cast member to view their details.

View list of episodes

When viewing details of a TV show that is part of a series:

1. Select the EPISODES
2. Navigate up and down to find all episodes.

Play

To play a TV show or movie:

1. Select the TV show or movie.
2. Press OK or PAUSE/PLAY.

Pause

To pause a TV show or movie:

1. Press the PAUSE/PLAY
2. To resume play, press the PAUSE/PLAY

Fast forward or rewind

When an on-demand TV show or movie is playing, use FORWARD and REWIND on the remote control to skip forward and back.

Restart live TV (start over)

To restart live content from the beginning, select START OVER.

To return to live broadcast, select the JUMP TO LIVE button.

Watch catch up TV

You can use catch up to watch TV shows and movies after they have been broadcast. To watch using catch up:

1. Select the GUIDE icon.
2. Navigate left to view the earlier listings.

Note that TV shows and movies marked with this icon are not enabled for catch up.

Add a channel to favorites

To add a channel to favorites:

1. Select the GUIDE icon.
2. Highlight the required channel.
3. Press the OK A star appears next to the channel logo.

Remove a channel from favorites

To remove a channel from favorites:

1. Select the channel.
2. Select UNFAVORITE.

Set output audio language

To set your output audio language when a TV show or film is playing:

1. Select the AUDIO icon.
2. Select your preferred language from the list.

Turn on subtitles

To enable closed captions while a TV show or film is playing:

1. Select the CC
2. Select your preferred language from the list.

Set up parental control

You can choose the type of content that can be viewed using Parental Control. Content is grouped into four categories:

The default setting is MATURE, which allows all content to be viewed. Whatever settings you choose, all content remains visible in the content listings but the ability to play it is determined by the parental controls setting.

To choose which content is allowed:

1. Select SETTINGS > Parental Control.
2. Enter your PIN. On first use, create a new account PIN.
3. Select Allowed Content to choose your preferred ratings. You can choose more than one.

To restrict adult content:

1. Select SETTINGS > Parental Control.
2. Enter your PIN. On first use, create a new account PIN.
3. Select Adult Content.
4. Select ON or OFF.

Set unlock time

Unlock time disables parental control for a selected amount of time.

To activate the Unlock Time feature:

1. Go to Parental Control > Unlock Time
2. Select the duration for unlock time:

• 1hr
• 2hrs
• 3hrs
• 4hrs

Reset your PIN

 To reset your 4-digit PIN:

1. Go to SETTINGS > General > Parental Control> Change Account PIN.
2. Enter a new PIN.
3. Confirm the new PIN.
