Validation rules

The following validation rules may apply to the fields on the EPG & Event Search, Live Channels and Content pages: 

  • Format of the data sets, for example text, numeric, string etc.
  • Length of the data sets, for example minimum and/or maximum values.
  • Duplicate items and values. 
  • Count, for example single vs multiple values.
  • Mandatory data sets to ensure core elements are populated.

If an input does not conform to the OpCon ingest interface, a message will be displayed and the relevant field will be outlined red.
