Create an event recording request

Request

To create an event recording request, send a POST request to:

^{https://<host>:<port>/cdvr/v1/recordings}

Headers

• Content-Type: application/json

• Authorisation

Mandatory arguments

• eventId – the ID of the event to be recorded

This must be the programme ID, as returned by MDS or Content Discovery Facade.

Example

A POST request with this payload creates a recording request for the event with the specified ID:

Response

A successful request returns an HTTP 201 status.

A bad request returns an HTTP 400 status.

An unsuccessful request returns an HTTP 401 status.

If the user does not have sufficient quota available, an HTTP 409 status is returned.
