Post a message to a device – DTH

Request

To send a message to a specific device, send a POST request to:

http://<host>:<port>/cag/v1/{casInstanceName}/devices/{deviceId}/message

Mandatory fields

• casInstanceName
• deviceId

Example

The following request sends a message "Hello" to the specified device:

Response

A successful request returns an HTTP 200 status.

An unsuccessful request returns an HTTP 400 status if there was a problem with the request.
