Browsers SDK 1.x to Browsers and Connected TV SDK 5.x Migration Guide

The migration path will have minimal impact to your deployment as the SDKs have parity between them and the APIs are almost identical. HLS and FairPlay Streaming capabilities in the Safari browser are completely unchanged. The only differences will relate to DASH related features as the change in the underlying DASH player engine offers great improvements in configurability and capability.

Name of distributed files

The first and maybe most obvious change is the files you need to integrate are now prefixed with opy-sdk-js-. However, existing naming conventions are maintained for the various different deliverable artefacts.
