Manage channel details
The Channel Management app enables you to create channels in a way that ensures data consistency and synchronisation between OPF and SSP, and that the two systems are linked together in a standardised way.
From here, you can:
View channel details
Manage channel metadata
Manage channel playback variants
Manage product inclusion
Delete the channel
Overview
The Overview shows a diagram of the OPF and SSP entities that have been created for the channel. To view this information for a specific region, select it from the Region dropdown list.

You can click on the boxes in the diagram to see more details:
To view the channel metadata, click on the Editorial Channel.
To view the technical channel details, click on the Technical Channel.
To view the broadcast metadata, click Network.
To view more detailed broadcast information, click Service.
Metadata
The channel metadata is grouped in the following tabs:
Channel Descriptors
The Channel Descriptors tab shows the basic channel information.
Broadcast
The Broadcast tab, shows a list of broadcast information for the channel, where applicable. From here, you can view, add, edit or delete broadcast information.
To view detailed broadcast information, click on the relevant row. From there, you can also edit the information.
To add a new row, click the Add Broadcast Information, fill in the details and click Save.
Edit Broadcast Information
Regional
The Regional tab shows a list of regional information items for the channel. You can view, add, edit or delete regional information.

Parental Ratings

Playback Variants
The Playback Variants tab shows playback information for the channel, where applicable. You can view, add, edit or delete a playback variant.

The Products tab shows a list of products that are included in the channel.

The Actions tab provides an additional way to perform actions on a channel.
