Metadata purge

OpenTV Video Platform has a mechanism to purge metadata for expired content. This helps to reduce the amount of storage used by Platform together with the associated costs.

This section explains how to configure purge and to manually trigger a purge. 

If you need metadata purge to happen automatically, you are recommended to set up a cron job to trigger it according to a schedule.
