PES use cases

This following pages describe the sequence of commands that are called on the PES Manager for each use case.

The PESClient class encapsulating the command logic and the connection to the PES Manager is shown in the diagram below. 

Scrambling a new asset  (from external storage - FTP)

The following commands are called on the PES Manager, to scramble a new asset:

• newAsset
• scrambleAsset

Re-scrambling existing (stored) asset

The following commands are called on the PES Manager to re-scramble an existing asset:

• prepareAsset
• scrambleAsset

Get status

The following commands are called on the PES Manager to obtain the status:

• listAsset
• getStorage
• getToDolist

Delete asset

The following commands are called on the PES Manager to delete an asset:

• deleteAsset
• deleteAssets
